High-Quality, Pre-Owned Furniture Inventory
Coinciding with the University’s sustainability efforts to reduce waste, recycle materials and optimize resources, faculty and staff now have the option to select workspace furniture (desks, bookcases, filing cabinets, side chairs, etc…) from an on-campus inventory of high-quality, pre-owned items.
FurnishND staff will manage the University-wide furniture inventory located on-campus in the Mason Services Center Warehouse just north of the Notre Dame Federal Credit Union branch on Moreau Drive.
Online Catalog of Items
FurnishND staff will maintain an internal database of available furniture for their use in meeting campus furniture needs.Customers will be presented with options if inventoried items match the requested items.
Customers can view a catalog description of inventoried furniture (opens in Google Sheets) including item descriptions, finishes and dimensions.
Viewing Inventory in Person
After submitting a request and the FurnishND team presents available furniture solutions to customers, faculty and staff will have the option to schedule an appointment to view furniture options at the Mason Services Center Warehouse.
All furniture processed to University inventory is considered the property of the University and will be redeployed as appropriate when requests are received and matching product is available.
Items designated for removal cannot be reserved in the furniture inventory for later use or designated for another employee or campus unit.
